As inventory levels continue to go down things get even uglier. Why? Well, because prices are exploding higher.
The bottom line.
Rates will have to rise drastically for things to get healthier and this will create a whirlwind of other issues for fragile markets.
A slow down could happen faster than we think. Now not all markets are the same when we talk about risk. Real estate is very hyperlocal.
In my South boston neighborhood we haven’t seen run away home prices and the risk during a down cycle I believe is much less than other areas, but things are changing rapidly out there.
